You can skip the line only if you are buying out of their refrigerated section (to-go sauce or packaged fresh pasta)
Nope. If you want to shorten your line up time, go line up before they open. Around 10:30 on weekdays
Yes, wait is the same either way though.
Yes
The menu options change every day and everyday something new and glorious is presented.
the best lunch place in town - worth whatever wait they have
For Seattle, this is definitely a 4 - star restaurant. If you're anywhere from the east coast, this place would be a 1-2 star and will upset you. I have come to understand that Seattle has very mediocre food and I just feel that people here have become accustomed to it. The pasta was OK. Noodles didn't seem completely cooked. I definitely wouldn't wait in line. AMAZING price however when compared to other places in the city.
The best pasta I've had in memory, in the US, and possibly ever. The wait may actually be worth it, though I was lucky enough to go on one of their all too rare "slow days" (5-10 minute wait). Simply amazing, and the prices are insanely reasonable ($11 for an entree).
Check their Instagram for the daily menu. Place gets crowded - not unusual to see a line out the door around lunch time. This is one of the best pasta locations in the area. But there aren't that many good ones around here I've been to yet...
This place was nearby and I decided to check it out. The food is simply to die for. I was happy to see how clean everything was. The waiter was prompt and polite. Satisfactory experience, will come again.
It was delicious. I waited about 2 hours in line... I would say it's worth an hour wait. The staff deserves 5 stars no doubt. Those guys had their system down pat and were working their butts off! It's only the wait that knocks off a star.
Some seriously delicious pasta. Simple, rotating menu with 3 pasta choices. Kale salad had some serious flavour. Line looked long when we go there, but moved quickly. Highly recommend, and definitely worth the wait.
The wait may seem intimidating, but Il Corvo has delicious pasta. And at very affordable prices. The menu changes daily, but all of the pastas I tried were fabulous. The other menu items like the house foccacia and kale salad were great too.
My first time going to Il Corvo and it did not disappoint! Pasta was amazing and bread was good too. Would recommend two dishes and bread for a table of two. We got there at 10:30 for the 11am opening of the store. We were one of the first people in line because of this! A great time.
My brother decided to take us to this place boasting it was supposed to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Seattle. It did not disappoint.Food: Authentic. You can taste almost every ingredient and it’s freshness in the dish. The lack of verity is completely made up by the absolutely exquisite taste of the pasta and sauce. This is not one of the best pasta joints in Seattle. This is one of the best pasta joints in the country.Atmosphere: A little tight with limited sitting, but gave the place a cozy authentic feel in a part of town where you would not expect food of this caliber. I wouldn’t bring kids here as they might not appreciate the lack of space.Service: The staff was very nice and explained everything that was asked. We did not feel rushed even though there was a line of at least two dozen people behind us. Try their chili sauce. It’s life changing.
Fresh pasta!! I love the concept here and that they make their pasta from scratch every day. There’s always a line out the door.
Long wait in line for lunch, but I've been wanting to try this place for 9 months! Fantastic food. Everything was fresh and delicious, homemade. Small, simple cafeteria style seating but charming in an old school kind of way. Worth every penny, and moment waiting in line!
The line is always out the door, but what awaits inside is delicious handmade pastas served with velvety sauces. Antipasto to be shared, and a nice midday getaway. The pasta menu changes daily, and the seating is communal. Beware, when the focaccia 'sold out' sign goes up on the daily board a collective groan can be heard from those still waiting to order. What are you waiting for???
Oh this restaurant is superb in almost every way. Food is so innovative, so creative, and so tasty. The attention to detail is outstanding. Choice of two tasting menus or the a la carte. Service is better than any we have had before.
The pasta was great. I think we got a pesto one and that was delicious. We did have to wait around 45min though, so my advice is to go early if you can. The food was good but if you're waiting more than an hour, I don't think its worth. Also, this place is not good if you're in a large group
My favorite pasta place! I would recommend going closer to the end of the lunch shift on a Tuesday/Wednesday. The line is often too long otherwise!
Amazing! Tiny little hole in the wall with fabulously fresh pasta. My favorite was the red pepper sauce pasta- the flavors blended together super well. Will definitely go back!
Just delicious. One of the best pastas I've had in Seattle. Worth the long wait line. We joined the queue at about 11.40 am and got our table by 12.30pm. the service is super quick. Definitely recommend.
Had to wait two hours in line on Holiday Monday which was definitely a long wait. But it was so worth it as it was the best pasta I have ever had! My tip would be show up before they open and you will cut your wait massively.
30+ people ahead of us. Took us almost an hour of standing in line. Super efficient once you order. Salad at your table even before you get seated. $10 per bowl of pasta. $50 for 2 of us. 3 bowls of pasta + kale salad + 2 cookies. Stuffed and happy!
The pasta is amazing, supple and fresh. The sauces are to die for, especially the Bolognese. The line, however, is insane. I guess good things are worth the wait ðŸ˜

This place is definitely worth the wait in line. Get there early or make sure you have some extra time to get through it, but it not a waste of time. Check their Instagram for the day's pastas, and I recommend getting the focaccia bread as well because it's delicious.
Excellent! Pastas are very well prepared and super tasty. Really enjoyed my experience at Il Corvo, a must go place if you're always in downtown and want to have good italian food!
Waited in line for about half an hour for this delicious pasta. They move pretty efficiently. They’re only open for a few hours each day, so make sure you come when they open to avoid the long wait.
My family and I were eating lunch today in this restaurant. This restaurant has friendly waiters and the service was very fast. You can even see their chef while preparing your food in clear glass. It was the best, I guess, because you can see how they prepare your food and how clean their food station was. It is clean and safe.
This restaurant is brilliant. Best service I have had in a long time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Great food, atmosphere and prices. Waiters know they're stuff. Our server was fantastic too - prompt, friendly and just the right amount of attentiveness. First time going there but definitely NOT the last.
Coming from New Jersey I’m always skeptical about Italian food on the west coast. Il Corvo is the exception, and they would do well regardless of where they are in the US. There’s a long wait and you’re eating in a somewhat cramped space, but that brings you closer to friends and makes the food more enjoyable. The appetizers, especially the prosciutto, were fantastic and the pasta is other-worldly.If anyone is visiting from the northeast and misses good Italian food, this is the place to go.
A national treasure. My favorite restaurant in Seattle.Everything is perfection. The pastas are as good or better than the finest in Italy or NYC and they are all $10.95! Most pasta dishes in Seattle are now $24!As Tony Bourdain used to sayâ€A moment of near perfect happiness!â€
Totally unique creamy rich homemade pasta dishes for lunch. Tiny crowded space. Friendly staff. Worth the wait in line outside.
This is one of my favorite places. After my meal, I was knocked into a food coma. The waiter did an excellent job. Everything I tried was bursting with flavor. This was one of the best mouth-watering burgers I've had grace my taste buds in a long time. They got a new customer for life!
Excellent salad and pasta. Reasonably priced and Expect a wait. Definitely worth it though.
Best pasta in Seattle! Be prepared to wait though -- I showed up at 10:45am and made it to the front of the line to order at 12pm. Once you order everything comes out very fast, around 5 minutes (if that). We got the lasagna special, the bolognese pasta, prosciutto and focaccia bread. Everything tasted phenomenal!
10/10, amazing pasta. Everything was so fresh, the flavors were great, and the portions were the perfect amount for a lunch with family/friends. The line was long, but even then, it moved rather quickly for the size of the restaurant! 100% worth the wait. Will definitely be stopping by here the next time I am in town!
Awesome restaurant! Be prepared for a bit of a wait, but tables cycle through relatively quickly. There are only a few simple entree options- a single pasta dish is consistently offered and the other two dishes vary daily- one of which is either always or almost always vegetarian. The pasta is easily some of the best I’ve ever had (including a trip to Italy) and the kale salad and bread are also consistently delicious.
I started with a chunky monkey smoothie which was amazing! There was a few things I couldn't decide between for food but ended up getting a breakfast panini which was really yummy and added the hash browns since they had my favorite the thinly cut ones.
This was the best plate of pasta in Seattle. I’ll miss waiting in line. RIP and good luck. Please open another pasta shop! We will miss you
It was freakin delicious and my girl scored big cool points. I've always saw the line outside and been like is it that serious YES ITS THAT GOOD!
It's a great Restaurant. I definitely like this restaurant. Highly recommended!
Im not really into pasta but this place is SO GOOD! You can't beat fresh pasta. There's always a line out the door. Everything on the menu is good. Get one of each!
The best restaurant in my area. They have the best value for money. High food quality and a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The staff is courteous and attentive. They are also cheaper from other restaurants we visited before. I really love the food here, everything tasted good. Surely I will recommend them to all.
Amazing pasta. Salad and bread are great to get to round out the meal. Huge lines if you go right at lunch time, but if you go at 2 the lines are pretty much gone and it becomes a great late lunch spot!
Fresh perfectly cooked pasta with circulating menu to seasonal availability... I love Il Corvo, I want it to both be widely successful and yet keep its cozy, homey, vibe.
We waited for around 45-60 minutes, and it was definitely worth it. The home-made focaccia was out-of-this-world, and our party ordered each pasta and all of them rival the best pastas in the world. Don't let the wait discourage you—it is symbolic of its quality.
This is one of our local restaurants, we often visit and can recommend it to those wishing to enjoy a pleasant meal.
Fabulous Italian food, get there 20 minutes to 1/2 hour before they open so you don't have to stand in line very long. Most clientele were from offices and the court house. I was on jury duty and it was recommend by one of the bailiffs. I would eat there again for sure. Priced reasonably.
Went for lunch and I enjoyed the pasta options and the bread was amazing. Anyone looking for some spice should ask about the chilli peppers side that only cost a dollar. We came 30 min before they started serving. Probably could have gotten away with only 15 though.
Tried the pasta with beans and cabbage. So simple yet so delicious. The homemade pasta has the perfect chew and bite. Right across from the Lite Link Rail station. Best time to go would be right before closing.
The line was crazy! Waited for 40mins in line.Tiny unique Italian restaurant on James St. There are only three menu choices each day. I ordered Cresti Di Gallo(red cabbage and corona bean pasta) it was absolutely delicious!
Five stars for the food! Long line, but excellent cavatelli. Attention to the guest: Bad experience while waiting, few people just don't care to show respect. One person was waiting, and suddenly 3-4 of his friends out of nowhere joined him. This happened twice (from what I see). They don't even care to say sorry.
